Had a very good stay, the hotel is straightforward and absolutely great.
Everything was nice, PERFECT location from the beach in a rural setting, the staff were amiable. Location: the hotel was just next door to shops and restaurants, and the sea. I had double room with windows overlooking garden and comfortable bed. Could use a terrace, WiFi, and mosquito nets.

I recently stayed at Margosa Guesthouse for a few days and had a fantastic time. The room was basic but had everything I needed, including a fan and a spacious bathroom. The value for money was excellent and the location was unbeatable, just a 3-minute walk to the beach. The host was incredibly flexible with breakfast times, which was a big help as I could enjoy a meal after my morning surf sessions. Despite the heat, the fan kept me cool throughout my stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great beach getaway.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The location was perfect for exploring Mirissa and the strong wifi was a bonus. I would recommend this guesthouse for a budget-friendly stay near the beach.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! the value for money is excellent. Everything that you need is provided at a very reasonable price. Secondly, the location couldn't be better. It is just a short walk from the beautiful beach, allowing for easy access to relaxation and fun. Lastly, the staff is incredibly helpful and attentive. They made sure that all my needs were met and provided excellent service throughout my stay. I also appreciated the attention to detail in the rooms, with tables perfect for enjoying breakfast and a homely atmosphere.
Despite the overall positive experience, the only small issue was the lack of air circulation in the rooms, which made it a bit uncomfortable at times.

Spent New Year's at this cozy guest house and we had a great time! The family running the place was very welcoming and accommodating, always with big smiles on their faces. The location was also great, just a short walk from the beach and all the festivities. The rooms were kept very clean and we were provided with towels. The breakfast was delicious, we especially enjoyed the Sri Lankan dishes.
That it was a bit hard to find the place at first, but once we got there, we had a great time. Also, as with most places in Sri Lanka, the hot water was not always available. Nonetheless, we would definitely recommend this guest house for a relaxing and enjoyable stay during the holiday season.

We stayed at Margosa for 3 nights to explore the beautiful coastal town. The guesthouse is just a short walk from the beach and main road, making it a perfect location. The room was basic but clean, with a fan and good WiFi. The owner and their family were incredibly friendly and sincere, providing us with delicious breakfasts and even a Sri Lankan breakfast upon request. The laundry service was excellent and the price we paid for the property was exceptional. Highly recommended if you want a warm and budget-friendly stay near the sea.
Can definitely recommend this hotel.
